Artist Statement
Barcelona Blues is part of a series of images sketched while traveling. Barcelona Blues is inspired by a friend’s home. The bathtub in our room was decorated by blue and purple tiles. They perfectly fit into the space. When observing them under water they glimmered and appeared to be in motion.
