Artist Statement
Always inspired by the flows and processes of natural environments, I seek to evoke a sensation of wonder for our vibrant living world. I create experiential art in motion, typically interactive or immersive. Aloe Blues is an energetic expression of Aloes. It is a moment captured from an animated experience of shifting hues and sparkling energy.
Bio and Websites
Lucy Boyd-Wilson is a digital artist living in San Diego, CA. She studied Mathematics, Computer Science and Fine Arts in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She worked first as a software developer creating animation tools for the film industry, and then as a video-game developer. Now she works independently creating experiential art, using various interactive technologies including virtual reality and Kinect motion tracking.
